Microsoft AppSource was launched in July 2016, with an Intent to provide an online destination for LOB SaaS Apps built on Microsoft platform.
It enables organizations to find the right Apps for their business needs, and evaluate them through self/partner led trials. Once finalized for purchase, Organizations can engage select SI partners from the Microsoft AppSource community to help with Implementation/Support services around the App.
Microsoft AppSource currently features hundreds of Apps across different Industry verticals/functions/roles, built on Microsoft platform by 3rd party ISVs and Microsoft.
Additionally, Microsoft AppSource also features add-ons and content packs that extend the functionality of Microsoft products like Azure, Dynamics 365, Office 365, Power BI, etc.
